My wife and I had been associated with the
Watchtower organization for over 90 years
accumulatively and were both members of the
so-called anointed class or the 144,000 as taught by
Jehovah's Witnesses.
We would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who contributed to this website.
This is an ongoing effort and we appreciate all the hard work and determination from
all those who have contributed. Thank you.

As our Bible reading and research intensified, the ever-changing doctrines of the
Watchtower Society began to "raise red flags" with us because some of their
doctrines could not be reconciled with the Bible. Such as the elder arrangements, no
independent thinking, the cross, their definition of "Christendom", education and
employment. The major doctrinal changes regarding the 1914 generation, blood, and
disfellowshipping could only be found through Watchtower dogma, not the Bible.
After discussing these and other concerns with a member of the Governing Body on a
personal invitation to Brooklyn headquarters, it became more apparent that the
Watchtower organization is nothing more than a business masquerading as a religion.
Through spending a full day at Bethel, as well as having numerous phone
conversations with this member of the Governing Body, it was easy to see the control
that the Watchtower organization has over its members. The glue that holds the
organization together wasn't godly or spiritual, becoming transparently obvious that
the Watchtower Society's key to locking in members is the undeniable form of mind
control. Our exit from the Watchtower organization began around the year 2000, and
we had to carefully consider our exit strategy. Having five children, two of whom are
still active Jehovah's Witnesses, we had to consider all the repercussions of leaving.
One of our daughters is married to a ministerial servant and is regularly pioneering by
putting in 70 hours a month of time in field service. The other is also married to a
Jehovah's Witness and they have one son (our grandson who we have not seen for
many years). Rick's mother and several of his other relatives are also Jehovah's
Witnesses. With many close family members involved with the organization, our
departure from the Watchtower had to be carefully considered. As a result of leaving,
of course, we have been shunned by all our Witness relatives and two of our children.
Due to our grave concern for our children, their mates, our grandson, and all other
relatives and friends who are still loyal to the Watchtower organization, we have
carefully and painstakingly put together the Six Screens of the Watchtower. Along
with the website, we will continue to develop exposure seminars entitled "Six
Screens of the Watchtower" attempting to help ex-Witnesses as well as active
Witnesses see the real "truth" behind the Watchtower organization.
